Kronos Connect App Reviews

Doesnt work, pointless

I wanted to love this app, but it doesnt consistently work, and it requires the iOS app to be open while using your Pebble watch, which pretty much eliminates any real use, since if you have your phone in front of you, you are better off using that to control Sonos.

Terrible

It takes forever to lunch. But the bigger is that it is not stable at all. It gets kick out within few seconds. The developer was not responsive to my email.

Terrible app. Dont waist time or money

The app takes a very long time to load and it is extremely unstable. Completely useless.

Very poor app

Its very long to load it.And is very unstable.

Dont buy!

Simply doesnt work. Spent hrs trying to get it to work. Contacted app developer. Says "sorry, no fix". Save your 5 bucks

Not Quit Ready

It loads and connects since I can see the music track that is playing but it will not pause, play or skip. Like the interface though. I assume the developer is working on it fixing the connection.

Does NOT connect to Kickstarter edition Pebble (iPhone 5S, iOS7)

Developer does not respond meaningfully. At this stage, smells like a $5 scam. May you have better luck with your particular Pebble/iPhone/iOS combination, but I recommend you spare yourself the funds, time and aggravation. Hope the Pebble developers will eventually take him to task. UPDATE: Great strides with a new version of the app! Instead of wasting your time with trying to get it set up, the app now simply crashes on start-up. Big time savings there!

Follow the developers instructions for now

So the start-up order matters: 1: ungroup your speakers via the Sonos app, 2: start Kronos app, 3: start watchapp. It does work, with some quirks. Hoping the dev works these out.

Good but has a lot of potential.

UPDATE: after the background fix was released, my pebble now only shows me one of my 3 available sonos zones. Its never the same zone that shows up. This bug makes the app pretty much useless to me now. It works pretty well, just not consistently. Could evolve into a solid app. There seems to be an order in opening apps to get it connected: Sonos app, then Kronos companion app followed by Kronos on the Pebble. That seems to be the only way I can get it to work. If any of the apps are already open. Close them and open in this order. The app will disconnect if your phone locks, (I believe a fix is on the way). Sometimes, the app does not refresh the song playing. And sometimes is randomly disconnects. Which forces you to reconnect, following the above process. One big annoyance is everytime you press a button, the pebble vibrates! Dont really see the point. I look forward to future updates. I think it could be a great app. Just think $4.99 is a little much for it, but I paid it.

app does not run

only crashes

Crashes instantly

Ive contacted the developer of this app but they have not been helpful. Ive installed and reinstalled.

Not Usable

Crashes on initial startup. Worthless on an iPhone 5.

DO NOT BUY

App does nothing.

Not ready for prime-time

Ive gotten this to work once (I guess when I had all my zones unlinked). It does control pause and forward/next track and shows you the song playing, which is nice. I wish there was an option to control the volume instead of prev/next track. With that, until this app is stable, I would tell people to not pay the $4.99 yet. (iOS7.1, iPhone 5S, Pebble Steel user)

Basic control. Not bad.

Would be nice to control volume and group zones and select from favorites at least.

Kronos

This app is worthless! Just crashes on startup! I want my $5 refunded!

Finally have seen it work!

So yes, it actually will/can do what it claims. And when it works, its soooo cool. But it has to work at least 90% of the time or its just an annoying novelty. Well see—3 stars now because it is super handy and wicked cool when it works. Ill happily tack on a star or 2 if it proves to be reliable with the latest updates. Note that for me, it didnt work one single time until today, and Ive been trying practically since the moment the app was released.

A Great Way to Control your Sonos

Ill admit it, it had a rough start. But the latest update has cured all ails for me. I now can move back and forth between songs as well as control the volume (hold the buttons down on your Pebble to control volume). Bottom line is its a great way to control your Sonos!

Doesnt work

Trying to open the app and keep resetting..hoping in an update soon otherwise 5 $ wasted ..

Seems to work pretty well

I just installed it. Make sure you ungroup zones first. I will play with this some more and revise rating if I feel it is needed.
